I am running VMM 5 now but I'm still having a licensing issue. I can't seem to find exactly what permissions I need to give the VMM data collector account. At first I started with a local admin on the vCenter box but that collecting more VMs than I had licenses. I have read to deny access on certain hosts to get the number down but how do I clear the VM data from VMM so it doesn't think I'm over the limit? Also, why couldn't I assign a user with permissions through vCenter and only give it what it needs?
